Position Summary The role of the Decision Support/Cost Accountant reports to the Executive Director of Finance. This position is responsible for the development and overview of meaningful decision support reporting for the hospital and Physician Clinics on an ongoing basis. This position will be responsible for ensuring reported data meets the requirements of the reporting agencies. Essential Position Responsibilities Perform maintenance of HPM Costing System including conducting ongoing audits of data Prepare and distribute reports, surveys, and other statistical data, as needed Assist Physicians and Clinic Managers with monthly and annual tax filing requirements Prepare and maintain records on PCP payment receipts including expense requirements and other required data from Athenhealth (Anodyne) Partner with appropriate clinic personnel to prepare annual budget projections Continuously partner with appropriate clinic personnel to review financial performance Qualifications Education: High school diploma or GED, required. Bachelor of Science in Business or Accounting, preferred. Licensure and Certifications: N/A Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of previous supervisory or leadership experience, required. Previous experience with hospital cost account, required.
