The role of the Registration/Checkout Clerk reports to the Clinic Manager. This position is responsible for overseeing the activities of the front office.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Engage with customers, patients, guests, and coworkers in a positive and professional manner
Communicate clearly and effectively with patients, clinic staff, and providers
Perform office and administrative duties in an effective and efficient manner
o Schedule appointments
o Register patients
o Collect co-payments and deductibles
o Verify insurance eligibility
Education: High school diploma or GED
Licensure and Certifications: N/A
Experience: Previous experience in a clerical support role, preferred.
