PACE serves Seniors in our communities including Washington, Benton and Madison counties and includes a Day Health Center, physician offices, social services, and rehabilitation services, all in one site. Our health services include preventative services such as frequent checkups, exercise programs, dietary monitoring, and even transportation to and from appointments. POSITION SUMMARY Under the supervision of the RN Health Care Coordinator, CNA is responsible for attending to the daily living and safety needs of participants and aiding the licensed nursing associates in the care of participants. This includes assistance with feeding, ambulation and toileting. Collaborates and assists Recreation Coordinator with activities within the Adult Day Health Center. Assists with food service delivery to include serving preparation and delivery of meals to participants according to dietary recommendations within the facility. LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED Valid Drivers License and Auto Liability Insurance. CPR certification. Unencumbered certifications SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL AND SKILL COMPETENCIES REQUIRED High School Graduate or GED required. Minimum of one-year experience working with frail and elderly population required. One year experience within a hospital, home care or nursing facility preferred. Ability to work sensitively and effectively with individuals of diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds. Ability to work effectively and harmoniously within a team environment with the public and the elderly. Certified by the state of AR as a nurse assistant/nurse aide.
