Position Summary The role of the Clinic Manager Walker Heart Institute Electrophysiology (EP) Clinic reports to the WHICC Practice Administrator. This position is responsible for the day-to-day leadership and operational management of the Electrophysiology Practice within the Walker Heart Institute. This position must possess strong business acumen and the ability to function independently while leading the practice towards mutually beneficial and system level goals. This position will be responsible for supporting the direction of the Practice Administrator in regard to other activities supported by the Walker Heart Institute as directed including interventional cardiology, general cardiology, specialty cardiology clinics. Essential Position Responsibilities Partner with leadership to develop and implement policies and procedures relevant to the EP program Provide leadership and direction in accordance with department and organization goals and objectives Interview, hire, evaluate staff performance, and when necessary, assist in resolving complex employee relations matters Create staffing schedule and ensure proper staffing levels are maintained by evaluating patient census Ensure accreditation, legal, and medical compliance are managed and maintained and remain knowledgeable regarding regulations at the local, state, and federal level Ensure that all Washington Regional policies and procedures are effectively communicated to and implemented by all staff Assist with implementation and monitoring of department budget Assist with technical direction in evaluation and proper treatment for EP patients Assist with other duties, as assigned Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. Bachelors degree in a Healthcare related field, preferred. Combination of relevant work and leadership experience in physician practice management or healthcare related entity will be considered in lieu of degree. Licensure and Certifications: N/A Experience: Minimum 2-3 years experience in a clinic or healthcare setting in a supervisory or leadership role, required.
