CNC PROGRAMMER / OPERATOR
RB Royal is a premium manufacturer of fluid transfer systems. Think custom coils, tubing and hoses that move water, air, oil and fuel. We manufacture solutions for the following markets: marine, automotive, construction, motor sports, agriculture, food processing medical, power generation, etc. Our customer base and orders are growing and we need additional CNC Programmer/Operator's at our Fond du Lac facility.
Hours / Pay
Weekday Shift - Monday thru Thursday: 1st Shift 5:00am-3:30pm / 2nd Shift 3:30pm-2:00am
Weekend Shift - Friday thru Sunday: 5:00am-5:00pm (paid for 40 hours)
Pay is based on experience. $1.25/hr shift premium for 2nd shift and weekend shift.
$300.00 BONUS GIVEN AFTER 120 DAYS COMPLETED
Duties and Responsibilities
Reads and interprets blueprints, planning sheets, sketches and related technical data to determine tooling requirements, setup procedures, control settings and methods and sequences.
Enters computer program for parts to be run based on technical data supplied by drawing, engineering and other sources.
Selects and communicates type of tooling required for each job to be run.
Mounts, aligns and secures toolding, attachments and workpiece on machine.
Programs controller to run the parts as specified.
Trains assembly operators on CNC operation.
Uses statistical process controls to ensure quality production.
Adjusts setup and tooling as needed.
Loads new data in coordinate measuring machine and verifies product to blueprint.
Provides support for the job estimates and prototype development.
Participate in testings and requsting new tooling.
Skills and Qualifications
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: High school diploma, plus previous experience programming, setting up and operating CNC type machines required. Metalworking courses at a technical school preferred. Completion of an apprenticeship program or credits towards journeyman preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
