JOB DESCRIPTION

The Human Resources Group, Americas, at this Beverage/Spirits Company is responsible for supporting the sourcing, performance and growth of our people across the Americas (Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Jamaica, Mexico, Peru and USA) and developing a pool of talent for global opportunities.

As a member of the regional HR Lead Team, the Reward, Mobility Lead - Americas will oversee the operation of the Americas regions Compensation, Benefits, Mobility and HR Data activities through both direct report administration and relationships with country HR functions. The role will operate as the critical regional lynchpin for international mobility arrangements for both incoming and outgoing employees and will function as the center of expertise in the region for all Compensation Benefits, Assignment and Data Management activities and systems/platform operations. The candidate will need to liaise regularly with Local HR in the execution of remuneration activities and will work to ensure compliance with both our global processes and each countrys regulations through the development of appropriate governance structures.

The candidate will bring protracted experience in a wide range of compensation, market-analysis and international mobility fields to the team and will provide thought leadership to HR and key business partners at both the tactical/operational and strategic levels ofplanning.

Mission/Objectives

The role will support the Regional VP HR Americas and the Global Rewards Sr. Director in running Regional Rewards, Mobility and Data Management function, including the centralization of international mobility and job evaluation/market analysis support as a specialized area of excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Bachelors degree in Applied Science, Commerce/Business or Statistics preferred
  • Fluent English (written and verbal) - essential
  • Fluent Spanish (written and verbal) - preferred

Experience

  • Management and coordination of international assignees
  • Regional country exposure USA plus at least one other major country
  • In-house work experience in Compensation and Benefit design and management - preferred
  • Exposure to European multinational matrix organizations - preferred

Knowledge/Skills

Functional

  • Solid experience in both quantitative and qualitative analysis; experience in cross-country research, particularly survey design and analysis, and analytics and statistical modeling concepts norms, percentiles and bands in salary/remuneration data;
  • Comfortable acting as an advisor, and able to influence, junior insights managers as well as senior marketing leaders;
  • Expert in use and interpretation of remuneration market data (Mercer and/or Hay);
  • Expert in the application of proprietary global Job Grading methodology (Mercer and/or Hay);
  • Ability to connect with wide range of HR and Business colleagues;
  • Excellent skill in Microsoft Office suite as well as other database tools;
  • Experienced in the coordination of International assignees;
  • Strong proficiency in SAP and principles of master data management;
  • Awareness of international tax principles;
  • Demonstrated success in managing small team of technical/professional specialists;
  • Ability to manage work performance and maintain hands-on involvement
  • Demonstrated success in multi-national functional support;
  • Ability to operate in both functional/operational and strategic areas

Managerial

  • Ability to work effectively across an organization with complex matrix relationships and different cultures;
  • Ability to influence ideas, behaviors through the communication of compelling points of view and the building of strong partner relationships vs. direct management control
  • Ability to secure work output of others when not in a position of authority over them

Other

  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Ability to operate as an internal specialist while also providing a broader perspective on general business issues;
  • Well-developed analytical abilities and logical thinking approach to problems;
