We are actively looking for a results-driven Sales Representative for our Gateway Technology. This role will be responsible for managing the sales process and actively seek and engage in client prospects. Candidate should have knowledge of the financial markets and industry. JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Minimum 5 years of sales and marketing experience in the financial industry
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent
  • MBA is a huge plus
  • Bring in an establish network of financial industry contacts, hedge funds and other channel partners
  • At least 3 years selling financial market data, trading tools, and/or historical data in the financial industry
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
  • Experience in complex sales including an understanding of the buying process for different types of data products
  • Strong knowledge of option trading and option data, volatility and volatility surface calculations including the forecasting of volatility
  • Proven trading experience or client service experience at a trading platform firm or broker supporting traders and portfolio managers a plus
  • Familiarity with CRM practices
  • Ability to use different database and visualization tools is helpful
  • Adaptable to rapid changes in projects and client needs
  • Prepared to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
  • Relationship management skills and open to feedback
  • Expert in MS Windows applications

  • Grow sales for Gateway Technologies including Raw Data, Live Analytics and Historical Data
  • Support Business Management and help develop new opportunities that will lead to long-term growth of the practice
  • Engage in Product Development to ensure the voice of the client is a key part of the process

Education:
University - Bachelor`s Degree/3-4 Year Degree
