Our Client is hiring a Healthcare Designer in the Chicago area. The Designer will have experience using CET and AutoCAD software and have 2+ years of experience with Healthcare design for a furniture dealership. The Designer is responsible for coordinating all resources related to system furniture design projects for their Healthcare clients. Salary is depending on level of expertise. Only local candidates able to commute to Lincolnshire will be considered. This is not a remote position.

DUTIES

• Space Planning
• Interior Design
• Product specification
• Prepare installation drawings
• Design Documentation

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Possess working knowledge CET and AutoCAD design software
• Ability to learn specific product lines used by Company, such as approved applications, specification, and technical data
• Develop an understanding of applicable codes, ordinances and regulations governing design and installation of represented product line (NEC, National Fire Code, etc.)
• Competent in creating and delivery of professional design presentations to end users and design/architectural firms
• Maintain accurate records of conversations, meetings, expenses and transmittals

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor Degree
• 2+ Years experience as a Healthcare Interior Designer for a furniture dealership
• CET and AutoCAD proficiency
• Effective time management and multitasking skills
• Experience with software design for system furniture
• Professional, diplomatic, proactive attitude
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills

University - Bachelor`s Degree/3-4 Year Degree
