Accounting Specialist Dubuque, IA $47,000 - $55,000 / year Direct Hire Opportunity The right fit Accounting Specialist will perform a wide variety of administrative duties to support the work of the Finance Department. This includes; assisting in the preparation of budgets and monitoring budget expenditures, RFP reviews and conducting research and assembling and summarizing information from a variety of sources for special projects and reports. What you get to do:
- Maintain financial reports, records and general ledger accounts
- Prepare and verify transactions for AR and AP
- Prepare journal entries, accounting reconciliations and assist with month closing
- Prep and create financial statements
- Develop and enhance forecasting templates, metrics, reporting templates and variance reporting to proactively analyze business and trends reports
QUALIFICATIONS What we need from you: - Accounting / Finance relates degree or two plus years of accounting experience.
- Processing Payroll experience is preferred
- Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication
Education:
University - Associate`s Degree/Graduate Diploma/2 Years
