Are you a Solutions minded Technical Business Analyst? We are seeking talented, full-time, functional, consultant-minded analysts to join our long-term healthcare client`s technology team. Our client is investing in its people, processes and going through a major transformation to deliver to their customers across the US. We are looking for expertise in the healthcare industry around business processes, claims processing, patient portals, as well as any healthcare financial and controls background. Candidates with experience working for Deloitte, Accenture, PwC, McKinsey, or other top-tier consulting companies are highly preferred.

In this role, you will partner with business stakeholders to identify and assess opportunities to improve the company`s ability to serve its patients while enhancing internal business processes using technology. You will leverage your knowledge and insights of business processes and best practices to analyze and document requirements while acting as an internal Information Systems consultant to support system development and implementation efforts that are aligned with strategic objectives. You will play a key role in facilitating ongoing communication with key stakeholders to understand the evolving business environment ensuring that both the business team and internal IT resources are aligned. This role not only includes the addition of new functionality but providing support of multiple existing systems and enables the business team to understand how to better utilize current offerings.

EXPECTED ROLE CONTRIBUTIONS

  • Responsible for the analysis, refinement, and documentation of complex business and clinical requirements supplied by internal and external partners
  • Delivery of functional solution design to meet documented business requirements, leveraging problem-solving skills and awareness of best practices
  • Develop detailed functional specification documentation which further defines the business rules, application functionality, and security needs needed to fulfill the business requirement
  • Partners with the technical team (development/network/infrastructure) to design, deliver and implement technical solutions which are in line with the strategic objectives of the overall organization
  • Work with technical resources to design effective solutions leveraging existing and new technology platform investments
  • Manage and coordinate assigned activities from the beginning of engagement through implementation and the post-implementation hyper care timeframe
  • Perform functional testing, system integration testing and assist with user acceptance testing
  • Continue to provide support to our business partners during and post-implementation of projects and enhancements
QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS Degree with at least 8 years of business systems analyst, functional consulting, or solutions analyst work experience
  • Health Care applications/industry experience required
  • Manage and coordinate assigned activities for full engagement lifecycle
  • Experience defining required solutions/functionality ranging from changes to existing applications, the introduction of new applications/processes, modification of interfaces
  • Experience mapping business processes (As-Is & Future State)
  • Experience and willingness to drive process definition
  • Prior experience partnering with technical teams (Development / Infrastructure / Network) to design and deliver advanced solutions
  • Experience developing and executing testing scenarios
  • Experience identifying inefficiencies in current processes/technologies and developing compelling solutions supported by business cases
  • Experience in environments with large areas supported by bespoke systems
  • Strong self-starter willing to own and drive assigned activities
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Proven customer-facing experience with
  • Prior experience as a consultant solving problems, building solutions, business, and process-focused experience
  • Six Sigma experience a plus
