Company Description: We are the trusted authority on grading, authentication, and pricing for the sports card, comic books, and collectibles industries.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an experienced, ambitious Full Stack Developer to join its rapidly growing technology group. The Developer will work closely with the CTO and Design teams to build, and then maintain our brand-new website and backend processes.

The collectibles industry is undergoing significant, rapid changes marked by technological improvements and modernization.

Responsibilities:

  • Play a key role in rebuilding the our website and backend processes

  • Design, build, evolve, and maintain the foundational tools used by our engineering team, including API middleware and data pipelines

  • Collaborate with our design team to iterate and implement new user-facing workflows and functionality

  • Suggest tools, cloud-based technologies/services and best practices to improve the site stability, performance and quality

QUALIFICATIONS

Targeted Experience:

  • You have at least 5 years of experience in software engineering

  • Experience in some or all: Ruby on Rails, GraphQL, ElasticSearch, Git, Heroku, AWS, CI/CD pipelines, Java, JavaScript (React, Angular, Vue), HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap

  • Youre excited by the opportunity to be part of a small engineering start-up built within an iconic heritage brand in the collectibles industry

  • Youre familiar with current trends and best practices in data architecture, including performance, security and usability

  • Youre familiar with collaborating closely with designers, engineers, and other stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated passion for the sports & entertainment industries

  • Excited by the opportunity to be part of a small team that will completely transform and modernize our platform

  • Knowledge of the sports cards or comic books industries is a plus

Education:
University - Bachelor`s Degree/3-4 Year Degree
