WHY IS THIS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY? Field Service Engineer-CNC - Machine Tool - 1758 - NC Travel will be 85% mostly domestic with some international travel. Typical trips are 3-4 days with some lasting a bit longer for large installs. Travel Pay includes per diem and all expenses paid. Hourly position, OT of 1.5x over 40 hours
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Install and service company CNC products. Assist sales personnel and train customer personnel.
- Cross-train on both Metal Forming and Metal Cutting products as assigned for best overall Customer Service.
- Provides phone support to customers by answering product and service questions.
QUALIFICATIONS ?REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: 1+ years of experience with CNC programming in an OEM or manufacturing environment
Experience with troubleshooting Siemens or Allen Bradley PLC`s
Experience with ladder logic programming for automated CNC machines
Experience with commissioning automated manufacturing equipment
Travel up to 75%
Valid DL
DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
