JOB DESCRIPTION
- The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for the production part conversion process and cost-effective methods in the CNC and machining operations to meet the requirements of the engineering product drawings for the manufacturing of aviation fluid systems.
- They will develop these process methods that meet all quality standards and refine the methods to optimize production profitability and on time delivery through the part production conversion sequence.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
7+ years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in a precision CNC manufacturing environment
7+ years of experience in an ISO 9001 or AS 9100 quality manufacturing environment
5+ years of experience with tooling design (Solidworks preferred)
Experience with creating process plans within an ERP system
Experience identifying and solving manufacturing issues using root cause analysis, PFMEA, and 8D methodologies
Experience using with statistical process control (SPC)
DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Experience with precision CNC manufacturing for aerospace applications
Experience in contract manufacturing
Six Sigma Certification
