Supplier Manufacturing Engineer is a unique blend of Quality, Supply Chain and Product Development more business than design to ensure proper materials, applications and processes are in place to ensure cost, quality and effectiveness. Ideally BSME with experience in design, product development, vendor qualification Support Project Management, Manufacturing, and Service functions with on-schedule procurement of mechanical & electrical components/services as required for manufacture and after-sales service Create and Implement procedures and work instructions to systemize and standardize a manufacturing process.
Supplier Qualification Review both technical and non-technical (work place conditions, C-TPAT, etc.)
Participate in cross-functional teams such as Manufacturing, EE, ME and SW Design Engineers
Support corporate initiated CAPA to suppliers to contain, determine root cause, and implement corrective actions.
Support product development and reverse engineering functions.
Conduct incoming MRB and reject activities
Will oversee buyers and purchasing, work closely with Engineering Managers and Global Supply Chain Director. QUALIFICATIONS BS ME or any technical degree <!--[if !supportLists]--> <!--[endif]-->Experience with sourcing & vendor negotiation skills <!--[if !supportLists]--> <!--[endif]-->Strong communication and presentation skills <!--[if !supportLists]--> <!--[endif]-->Solid analytic skills, financial aptitude & business acumen <!--[if !supportLists]--> <!--[endif]-->3-5 years in product development or Quality with knowledge of supplier/vendor qualification of mechanical & electrical components/services Education:
University - Bachelor`s Degree/3-4 Year Degree
