- The quality engineer will be working as a DSQR delegated supplier quality representative for their aerospace products they manufacture, primarily bearings.
- They will be performing statistical analysis relative to quality performance and product failure modes.
- Performing root cause analysis and implement corrective action/preventive action plans for process and customer related concerns.
- They will also be supporting quality Inspectors to ensure that products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of the quality management system.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
5+ years of experience as quality engineer with AS9100 background
Experience with metal working or fasteners manufacturing
Experience performing statistical analysis and root cause analysis
Experience with continuous improvement with 5S, Kaizen, or other lean manufacturing methods
Experience as a DSQR (delegated supplier quality representative)
Strong client/customer facing skills
BS in Engineering
DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Experience in a precision machining environment or bearings manufacturing
Experience with customer portals (GE, Parker Hannifin, Boeing, etc)
Experience with internal and external quality audits Education:
University - Bachelor`s Degree/3-4 Year Degree
