JOB SUMMARY The Project Manager I attains company objectives by managing programs, projects or tasks within the constraints of scope, quality, schedule, cost and delivery of product that meets customer needs and specified requirements; handles direct day-to-day operations under the supervision of a Program Manager or the Director of Programs. Is typically member of a program management organization matrixed to form an Integrated Product Team; can also be assigned primary responsibility for products, projects or contracts with finite duration and well-defined and manageable risks. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS - Ensures all program requirements and/or objectives are properly documented in a program plan and vigorously pursued
- Ensures timely activity integration and efficient use of time and resources to meet requirements
- Tracks and reports progress against baseline and forecast final targets
- Documents, obtains approval, and tracks all changes in program parameters while developing revised plans to meet customer and company objectives
- Works with multifunctional team to develop, maintain, track and report status on master schedules
- Works with finance to develop, track and report status on cost estimates and budgets
- Generates monthly status reports for submittal to customers and or management
- Takes meeting minutes, and documents and tracks action items to completion
- Maintains risk database and track risks and mitigation plans to completion
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS - Comply with government and corporate laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY N/A QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION - Bachelors degree in Engineering or other Science related discipline; MS or MBA desirable
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
EXPERIENCE - 1- 5 years of combined experience with program planning elements, earned value management systems (EVMS), progress tracking activities, risk management and contract or subcontract management skills required
- Expert PC skills with working knowledge of MS Office tools, including MS Project
SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS - Must be eligible to obtain and/or maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance commensurate with the level of facility clearance.

PHYSICAL AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise moving objects, weighing up to 10 pounds occasionally and/or a negligible amount of weight frequently.
