Overview of Position:

Coordinate Site environmental management systems (Air, Water, Waste, AST) to ensure compliance & continuous improvement

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Obtain environmental permits & permit modifications when applicable
  • Manage Registrations, Inspections, and Spill Response Plants on above ground storage tanks
  • Manage Refrigerant Program and Risk Management Plan
  • Leadership Role in Emergency Response Team
  • Lead training of Environmental topics
  • Project Management Experience working with contractors and vendors
  • Perform internal process & paperwork reviews & report observations
  • Coordinate governmental agency (DEP, EPA) inspections
  • Evaluate environmental regulations & develop training, and audit programs.
  • Coordinate process for maintaining ISO RC14001 certification
  • Manage Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) program
  • Prepare environmental state & federal agency reports
  • Conduct external EHS audits of waste contractors
  • Comply with Corporate EHS management system

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience:

At least 4 years of relevant and hands on experience in Environmental Engineering or Environmental Management

Education:

Bachelors Degree required, Environmental Engineering / Environmental Science / EHS

Area of Concentration: Engineering or Science

Required Skills or Abilities:

Technical

  • Thorough knowledge of environmental regulations
  • Understanding of chemical processes and manufacturing facility
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Excellent problem-solving ability
    • Project leadership capability
