The employer is looking for individuals with strong leadership skills for all their open positions.
The sous chef will follow and enforce the executive chefs requirements and guidelines within the kitchen. These responsibilities include assisting the executive chef in monitoring kitchen activities, recording inventory, planning menus, managing food preparation, expediting orders that meet quality taste/presentation standards, and ensuring that kitchen staff has proper training and direction. Duties may also include responding to customer issues, developing new menu options, and recruiting new employees. The candidate must have excellent communication skills and an in-depth knowledge of multiple cooking methods, ingredients, processes and equipment. QUALIFICATIONS
Will need to obtain a Food Handlers Card within 30 days of employment
High school diploma and 2-5 years experience
Culinary management training/experience preferred
ServSafe certification preferred
