Responsible for the day-to-day activities on the site.
Must have layout capabilities and is responsible for verifying existing conditions and new work as well.
Able to understand project master schedules and monitor milestone dates and the overall project progress, and assist the Project Manager in generating and updating the project schedule.
Responsible for scheduling and sequencing all phases of construction from layout through punch list and be able to generate and administer 3-week look-a-heads.
Must have a general knowledge of contracts and able to review subcontractor scopes of work. Able to assist the Project Manager in generating scopes of work.
Responsible for keeping work progressing in a positive direction and strive to maximize subcontractor productivity and be aware how a superintendent can have a positive effect.
Must have effective communication skills, (owners, clients, design professionals, subcontractors & co-workers)
Must be proficient and timely with project documentation (Time sheets, Tool tracking, Safety checklists, RFIs, SKs, CCDs, As-builts: OHAs & verifying subcontractor completeness, etc.).
Must be able to read and understand shop drawings and product submittals.
Versed in code compliance (ADA and building codes).
Responsible for delivering a high level of quality (communicate quality expectations early in the project, identify deficiencies and make remediation prior to the completion of the project)
Responsible for demonstrating and administering OHA & OSHA Safety practices on a construction site and help generate a site-specific safety plan.
Responsible for conducting and documenting subcontractor preconstruction meetings.
Able to conduct and participate in weekly subcontractor progress meetings.
Responsible for monitoring and controlling day-to-day costs (verifying subcontractors change requests, extra work orders, etc.).
Closes out projects consistent with OHA contractual obligations, helps prepare and follows through with OHA and Client Punch Lists, all in a timely manner QUALIFICATIONS

General knowledge of construction practices and procedures (site work through MEPs)
Must have general computer knowledge.
Must have a background in commercial building experience.
Must work effectively with the Project Manager
