OVERVIEW

Support the Commercial Bank lending executive and team in their efforts to connect clients to financial lending solutions. Guarantee credit files are accurate, complete, timely, and in compliance. Process loan documentation and complete loan packages with minimal documentation exceptions. Act as a liaison between the client, closing agents, and the Bank. Deliver superior client service by providing a comprehensive, timely, and accurate response to the client`s inquiries, needs, or concerns.

Lending Servicing Division Supervisor (Banking)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Manage relationships with other areas of the bank to safeguard top client satisfaction. Consult with underwriters to aid in settling loan application problems.
  • Maintain knowledge of client history, account terms, pricing, and bank products and services.
  • Field calls from prospective clients. Accurately identify client needs through meaningful conversations and promote financial ideas and bank solutions. Make referrals to Bank loan officers and facilitate client meetings.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all loan documentation is complete, accurate, verified, and complies with bank policy. Safeguard integrity of all information. Compile documents in support of the lending request, such as applications, closing documents, legal documents, letters, forms, government notices, and disbursements of funds.
  • Carry Out a final evaluation and analysis of the finalized loan file for correctness and exceptions. Forward to underwriting for approval.
  • Keep the borrower apprised of loan status, from the time of application through closing. Answer questions and advise clients regarding loans and transactions.
  • Preserve effective interaction with the Lenders, underwriters, and closing agents throughout the loan process and expedite the assemblage of data requested. Set and maintain appropriate expectations with all parties.
  • Request necessary documents and follow-up with vendors or third parties to acquire information in a timely manner. Follow-up with clients, attorneys, insurance companies, and underwriters on unaccounted for documents, assignments, final title, and implement corrective actions.
  • Process the approved and rejected files by conveying underwriting decisions and conditions to borrowers and outside agents.
  • Guarantee on-time closing by fulfilling all required pre-closing steps and organizing loan file within mandatory performance standards.
  • Execute proper assignments on titles, DMV forms, property insurance policies, and other such documents to safeguard protection against loss on mortgaged property.
  • Follow-up with clients, attorneys, insurance companies, and underwriters on post-closing documents, such as recorded mortgages, assignments of leases and rent, final title policies, and implement corrections, as essential.
  • Pull and distribute reports, such as the documentation tickler report, financial tickler report, past due report, and future maturity report. Evaluate with loan officers and implement corrective actions.
  • Formulate adverse action letters and checklist for denied loans and send to Loan Administration.
  • Expedite a speedy correction to resolve issues. Follow-up to safeguard, not only resolution, but also client satisfaction.
  • Aid loan officers with modifications and renewals of existing loans.
  • Employ bank software and established processes to monitor and update receipt of client financials and requirements and loan documentation. Safeguard appropriate data has been keyed and is maintained within systems.
  • Monitor insurance cancellations and contact the client to resolve issues and update files.
  • Prepare loan proceed disbursements, payoffs, and account transfers on behalf of lending clients.
  • Aid clients with draws, payments, change of addresses, payoff quotes, tax return information, and numerous other servicing issues.
  • Review and process executed loan documents with the requisite checklists and proper tickets completed for fees collected and send to Loan Administration for booking.
  • Act as a liaison with Credit Administration to enable the collection of financial data from the borrower and to assist in completing applications.
QUALIFICATIONS

Lending Servicing Division Supervisor (Banking)

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Capacity to learn products, services and procedures of the retail banking operations, financial industry, and market competition rapidly and precisely to meet policy and regulatory requirements
  • 6 (six) years or more of commercial real estate, small business or commercial lending administrative support.
  • Capacity to make personal connections, engage clients, and always act in a courteous and professional manner.
  • General tax returns understanding.
  • Capacity to understand and adhere to all Federal and State banking regulations including compliance with the bank`s Bank Secrecy Act/Anti Money Laundering (BSA/AML) program.
  • Proficient at interpreting and applying applicable laws, rules, regulations and/or policies and procedures.
  • Excellent listening and verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work together professionally in a collaborative environment with a diverse group of internal and external contacts.
  • Exceptional time management and organization skills.
  • Capacity to prioritize and handle multiple assignments concurrently in a high-paced environment.

Education:
University - Bachelor`s Degree/3-4 Year Degree
