The Payroll Specialist`s responsibilities include collecting and reviewing employee information and working hours, calculating wages, preparing and processing employee payments and maintaining accurate payroll records.
Previous experience working in Human Resources or Staffing helpful. Experience working with ADP is required .
An outstanding Payroll Specialist should also have excellent people skills and high numerical aptitude. QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 years experience
- Knowledgeable in all areas of payroll including FLSA regulations, IRS tax guidelines, paycheck deductions, reporting, compliance, etc
- MUST be proficiant in ADP
- CPP a big plus!
BA/BS degree in Human Resources, Business or related field
Must have strong attention to detail, problem solving and trouble shooting.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
High proficiency in Microsoft Office skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint with ability to create reports
Manufacturing experience a plus!
University - Bachelor`s Degree/3-4 Year Degree
