We are looking for a motivated Information Technology (IT) Services Senior Sales Consultant who shares our commitment and believes in the value of communication and client interaction. As a Sr. Sales Consultant, you will generate leads and successfully sell our key IT service offerings to small and medium business markets. Specifically, you will sell Remote Managed Services, on-site IT outsourcing, IT project work and CIO services. You will generate and follow up on sales leads through outbound campaigns. You will also qualify prospective clients' IT infrastructure needs, schedule, and assist with presentations to engage prospects throughout the sales process.

This is a full cycle sales role in which you will be work with the Sales Director, but independently create your own leads, maintain the prospect database and support outsourced marketing initiatives.

IT SERVICES SR. SALES CONSULTANT ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Sells Remote Managed Services, on-site IT outsourcing, IT project work, security audits and CIO services;
  • Generates and follows up on sales leads through outbound campaigns;
  • Qualifies clients' IT infrastructure needs and ensures they are engaged to progress on to the next step in the sales cycle;
  • Schedules and delivers presentations with prospective clients;
  • Contributes to and maintains the prospect database;
  • Supports outsourced marketing initiatives; and
  • Attends local, regional, and virtual networking events.

IT SERVICES SR. SALES CONSULTANT REQUIREMENTS
  • Eight plus years of experience with inside business to business sales and/or marketing;
  • Experience managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing;
  • Experience and an interest in the IT Services and consulting industries;
  • Solid experience using social media to prospect and market new business opportunities;
  • IT literacy with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), contact database software, and web-based presentation applications such as WebEx or GoToMeeting;
  • Member of multiple professional networks;
  • Highly motivated, resilient, and self-starting;
  • Detail-oriented with excellent time management;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including listening skills; and
  • Ability to deliver professional presentations.
