Warehouse Associate

Job Location: Sturtevant, WI

Position Overview:

Under the direction of the Manager of Commercial & Remanufacturing Operations and/or Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Associate is responsible for shipping, receiving, logistical planning and assisting with general warehouse duties.

Responsibilities:

Receive direct container shipments

Pick, pack and ship truckload & less than truckload shipments daily

Scheduling incoming and outgoing shipments with carriers

Order management

Warehouse organization

Inventory control

Maintain cooperative working relationships with all company employees, customers, owners and vendors.

Understand and follow all safety policies.

Stage and label product.

Other projects as assigned

Maintain Work Practices:

Maintain work environment to 5S standards

Punctual: begins work on time and returns from lunch and breaks on time

All paperwork and database entries filled out completely and accurately

Promote a positive team atmosphere with co-workers



Qualifications

Education:

High school degree or equivalent

Experience:

Forklift driving experience and certification

1+ Years of driving of 26,000GVW (26' Box) truck preferred

Other Requirements:

A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

MNDOT driver certification preferred

Basic computer skills

Gain knowledge of inventory system, product acceptance criteria and product quality checklists

Detailed oriented

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Ability to multitask and prioritize efficiently

Learn and incorporate the 5S program
