This is an exciting time within our company as we are in an organic and inorganic growth phase and are seeking an innovative, Vice President of Marketing who can translate the Ellison value proposition into actionable, growth-oriented marketing strategies.
This is a key position, reporting the CEO and serving on the Executive Committee (EC), with primary responsibility for architecting and leading the broad strategic marketing and business development initiatives critical to evolving the Ellison Technologies brand and its competitive position in the market.
The Vice President of Marketing must be a high-energy leader with an entrepreneurial mindset, strong business acumen and strong strategic thinking and capabilities. As a member of the EC, you will create and execute industry-first strategies that will drive the companys aggressive growth plans in the years to come.

Primary Responsibilities of the Role:
Translate company vision, strategy, and objectives into innovative and successful marketing strategies that drive awareness, and engagement and unlock untapped Customer value.
Develop annual strategic marketing plans to target key growth opportunities, provide tools and programs for field sales teams and build awareness of Ellison Technologies as a leader in the market.
Leverage CRM and other data, distilling key business insights and proposing recommended courses of action.
Provide thought leadership and new approaches using CRM, digital and offline marketing tactics to drive strategic Customer touchpoints to increase awareness and demand for Ellison Technologies services.
Develop and implement strategies to understand and address evolving customer needs by segment to and ensure continued customer satisfaction and increased sales.
Participate in key customer development activities, including attending sales calls to provide executive level support and direction.
Oversee development of marketing communications, including corporate presentations, sales tools, and customer informational collaterals. Ensure consistent and cohesive messaging and branding of Ellison Technologies corporate identity.
Manage corporate website, social media presence and social strategy, as well as the development of video content to drive customer acquisition efforts and support post sales training.
Manage third-party marketing agencies to develop and implement impactful content and communication strategies.
Lead and develop marketing team in execution of marketing strategy, content and communications development, sales enablement, in collaboration with our sales leadership teams.
Leverage existing partnerships and develop collaborative marketing strategies with each (e.g. Titan, DOOSAN, etc.).
Establish and promote the Ellison brand for non-machine tool areas, such as re-occurring business, automation, BlueChip, Advanced Manufacturing Careers, etc.
Lead, coach and mentor a team of direct reports.
Some travel required for Los Angeles-based meetings as well as other.
Bachelors degree, MBA preferred
7+ years demonstrated B2B Marketing in a leadership capacity
Prior experience and knowledge of CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce)
Ability to analyze and interpret data and inform/drive business decisions with analytics
Experience leading and developing a team
The ideal candidate for this position:
Will excel as a leader and doer. You do strategy well, but you also roll up your sleeves and help execute.
Have proven analytical thinking skills and the ability to translate CRM and other data into actionable strategies.
Be proactive and initiative-taking, possessing a high energy level and an entrepreneurial mindset to help evolve marketing strategy and organizational processes that will improve the business.
Feel comfortable working collaboratively with senior leadership, internal cross-functional teams, external field sales and external agency partners.
Possess strong verbal and written communication and overall influencing skills and can confidently and articulately communicate their thoughts and recommendations with poise and maturity.
Working knowledge of the paid media landscape, including paid social, sponsored content, programmatic, and paid search. Highly networked in the digital space, across social platforms, emerging technologies, and connected with niche agencies who can jump into different projects and activations quickly and efficiently.
