Quality Control Inspector

Job Location: Grand Prairie, TX

Assured Quality Systems provides quality services to our clients such as Containment Rapid Response, Onsite Management, Liaison Support, and 3rd Party Sorting. Work Environment:

Work environments vary by industry and establishment size; some inspectors examine similar products for an entire shift, others examine a variety of items.

Must be able to stand, bend, and lift at least 15 lbs. for the entire duration of your shift.

LOCATION: Grand Prairie, TX and Arlington, TX


1st shift starts at $14 per hour

2nd and 3rd shift start at $14.50 per hour

Paid biweekly - MUST WORK UP TO 6 DAYS A WEEK

Work Schedules:

1st Shift Monday-Saturday 6:00am -2:30pm

2nd Shift Monday-Saturday 2:00pm -10:30pm.

3rd Shift Sunday-Friday 10:00pm -6:30am


Employment Type:


Quality control inspectors typically do the following:

Read blueprints and specifications

Monitor operations to ensure that they meet production standards

Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process

Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced

Measure products with rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers

Operate electronic inspection equipment and software

Accept or reject finished items

Remove all products and materials that fail to meet specifications

Report inspection and test data such as weights, temperatures, grades, moisture content, and quantities inspected


The right candidate will have the following Knowledge & Skills:

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Quality control analysis

Active listening/ability to follow instructions

Detail Oriented/Monitoring skills

Problem solving/Troubleshooting skills

Judgment and decision making

Comfortable receiving ongoing performance feedback and coaching

Comfortable with ongoing change and learning new technology/processes

Has a dependable team-player attitude with an understanding that as the demand change your work hours may vary

Visually able to determine color, shape, and size of a part

Ability to lift up-to 50 pounds

Ability to stand for up to 8 hours plus

Have a positive attitude

Be able to travel to different job sites within a 10 mile radius of 75050 to help meet production deadlines at other facilities, if needed.

Education & Experience Required:

High School Diploma

Quality Control experience would be a plus preferred

1 yr experience in the automotive industry

1 yr experience with client engagement
