Work environments vary by industry and establishment size; some inspectors examine similar products for an entire shift, others examine a variety of items.
Must be able to stand, bend, and lift at least 15 lbs. for the entire duration of your shift.
Inspectors in some industries may be on their feet all day and may have to lift heavy items.
Workers in heavy-manufacturing plants may be exposed to the noise and grime of machinery.
LOCATION: Georgetown, KY
PAY RATE: All shifts start at $13.00 per hour, paid biweekly MUST WORK UP TO 6 DAYS A WEEK.
1st Shift 6:30AM-3:00PM Monday-Saturday
2nd Shift 2:30PM-10:30PM Monday-Saturday
3rd Shift 10:30PM-7:00AM Sunday-Friday
Quality control inspectors typically do the following:
Read blueprints and specifications
Monitor operations to ensure that they meet production standards
Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process
Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced
Measure products with rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers
Operate electronic inspection equipment and software
Accept or reject finished items
Remove all products and materials that fail to meet specifications
Report inspection and test data such as weights, temperatures, grades, moisture content, and quantities inspected.Requirements:

Be able to travel to different job sites within a 10 mile radius of 40324 to help meet production deadlines at other facilities, if needed.
Education & Experience Required:
High School Diploma
Quality Control experience would be a plus preferred
1 yr experience in the automotive industry
1 yr experience with client engagement
MASKS ARE REQUIRED IN THE PLANT. Temperature checks are done daily.
