Quality Control Inspector

Job Location: San Antonio, TX

Are you looking for a great career with a dynamic and innovative company? AQS is looking for a Quality Control Inspector to join our team TODAY!!. Must be willing to work 40+ hours Monday-Saturday! Assured Quality Systems provides quality services to our clients such as Containment Rapid Response, Onsite Management, Liaison Support, and 3rd Party Sorting.   • Read blueprints and specifications
  • Monitor operations to ensure that they meet production standards
  • Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process
  • Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced
  • Measure products with rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers
  • Operate electronic inspection equipment and software
  • Accept or reject finished items
  • Remove all products and materials that fail to meet specifications
  • Report inspection and test data such as weights, temperatures, grades, moisture content, and quantities inspected

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Work Schedules:

Monday - Saturday 1ST SHIFT 6:00AM - 6:00PM

Monday - Saturday 2nd SHIFT 6:00PM - 6:00AM

Monday - Saturday 2nd SHIFT 7:00PM - 7:00AM

Overtime may be required to meet production deadlines.

Starting Wage:

1st Shift $12.00/hour

2nd Shift $12.50/hour

COVID-19 considerations:

PPE equipment will be provided. Temperature checks are done daily and masks should be worn at all times.

  • Team player with an understanding that as the demand changes work hours may vary
  • Visually able to determine color, shape, and size of a part
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand for 8 hours plus
  • Have a positive attitude

Education & Experience Required:

  • High School Diploma
  • Quality Control experience would be a plus
  • 1 yr experience in the automotive industry
  • 1 yr experience with client engagement
