SAFETY AND SECURITY COORDINATOR

The candidate for this position will manage and maintain the banks emergency procedures, which includes training staff and coordinating drills as necessary. Tasks also include managing evacuation rosters, alarm permits, and overseeing the security guard vendor relationships. This candidate will manage the banks key program, ensuring keys are secured and logs are properly maintained. Candidate will provide 24/7 on-call assistance and support as scheduled for security equipment and situations, as well as provide support at the front desk of the Headquarters` building by covering breaks for the Lobby Security Specialist. Other tasks include coordinating maintenance for the banks security and fire alarm equipment, issuing access cards, and completing security related work orders as necessary.

Requirements for the position include a high school diploma (or equivalent), and a Bachelors degree is preferred. Project management and/or security experience is preferred. Exceptional observation and decision-making skills, the ability to multi-task, a strong proficiency in data entry (Word, Excel and Acrobat programs) and a high level of professionalism. The candidate must possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to interact with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner. The candidate must be able to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines. Experience working in a corporate environment is preferred.
