BUSINESS ANALYST I
The candidate for this position will be responsible for the management and oversight of a range of tasks, related to computer application administration, including, but not limited to technical support and troubleshooting. The candidate for this position will engage in process improvement efforts across the organization and will provide business intelligence to support various operations and strategic objectives. The candidate will work with divisions within the Bank as necessary in order to identify technology needs, recommend innovative and proven technology solutions, and create efficient operations utilizing technology. The candidate for this position will develop thorough understanding of all major functions of assigned systems. The candidate will maintain the process for assessing user needs, direct analysis, certification, testing and installation of new technology and releases to existing systems, review system releases to ensure new functionality is being maximized and deployed, working with divisions and departments to ensure full adoption of the system and coordinate training where needed. This position will conduct and facilitate user acceptance testing to include developing and executing test cases, communicating with project teams, validating and documenting results.
Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, a Bachelors degree in a related field, or (may be waived in lieu of experience). Three years of banking or financial industry system management is preferred. Experience with IBM AS/400 (iSeries) preferred. Excellent customer service, written and oral communications technical, interpersonal and analytical skills as well as experience with critical system environments is required.
