CREDIT ADMINISTRATION INTERNSHIP

Our highly competitive internship program provides candidates with the opportunity to gain the best real-world, hands-on experience working within the Commercial Credit Administration department at one of the Wichita metro areas largest banking institutions. The paid internship program will be completed over a 16-week period beginning August 22 to December 9, 2022, working a maximum of 20 hours a week. Valuable experiences gained in this role include, but are not limited to:
  • Understand the underwriting and approval process of business loans
  • Analyze company balance sheets and income statements to determine repayment risk associated with a loan
  • Identify the risks and economic factors that impact lending decisions
  • Observe Corporate Loan Committee meetings, where the largest business loans in the bank are approved or denied
  • Receive mentorship from experienced banking professionals
  • Explore different departments and career paths within the banking industry
  • Support the communities where we live and work

Requirements for the position include strong oral and written interpersonal communication skills and experience with Microsoft Word and Excel required.
