JOB REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE
Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
Experience: One to two years previous experience in delivery driver position preferred; previous experience in operation of a forklift preferred.
Knowledge/Skills:
- Ability to drive a delivery vehicle and maintain a current, valid state drivers license and driving record
- Proficient knowledge of transportation DOT regulations and procedures
- Good math and computer skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good organization and attention-to-details
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills necessary to work effectively with a variety of individuals and skill levels
- Working knowledge of company policies and procedures
- Possess a positive work attitude and a willingness to carry out instructions
- Ability to work independently with periodic consultation and direction
- Ability to express and share knowledge and ideas in a team environment
- Ability to multi-task
Licenses/Certifications:
- Current drivers license and driving record in good standing required
