Job Details

Buck Foundry is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our team in Quarryville, PA! The Customer Service Representative will provide superior customer service to both external and internal customers. Responsibilities include entering orders, resolving product or service issues, and following up with customers to ensure their needs were satisfied. This position works along side our scheduling, shipping, estimating, and shop floor management personnel to delight Buck Company customers. Previous customer service or administrative experience with strong organizational skills is preferred.   • Responsible for the timely and accurate entry of new orders and change orders from the customer
  • Responsible for the electronic scanning and filing of the customer orders entered
  • Maintain customer information in Odyssey
  • Preparation of schedules for production
  • Set production capacity
  • Keep personnel informed on production needs
  • Continual maintenance/cleanup of the schedules to assure they are maintained as accurately as possible
  • Respond to customer calls/emails and fulfill customer requests for information
  • Assist shipping, when necessary, in the scheduling/expediting of pickups
  • Perform any and all other job related tasks as assigned

  • Excellent customer service skills and positive attitude
  • Ability to communicate effectively; must be a good listener
  • Must be familiar with Odyssey software
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure, but have a sense of urgency
  • Ability to resolve customer inquiries efficiently and prioritize requests
  • Strong ability to handle challenges and multitask
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong computer skills; Microsoft Office and various software programs
