Job Details

Buck Company is looking for an energetic Sales Manager to join our team in Quarryville, PA! The right candidate will take the leadership role in developing and directing sales. Increase and enhance sales revenues and company profitability through strong customer relations, targeting appropriate market segments and selling high value castings.

  • Manage and maintain KPIs in areas of direct report
  • Supervise the development and effectiveness of direct reports
  • Establish, in coordination with Executive Management, both market and target customer strategies for the company that support the overall company strategic plan
  • Identify measurable monthly and annual sales goals/objectives with supporting plans and coordinate the efforts with all appropriate functional departments in support of those goals
  • Lead the sales effort through defined and measurable objectives; provide structure that promotes accountability; set and monitor individual performance expectations of account managers and sales representatives for customer contact frequency, type of contact, sharing of contact information, and sales levels; assure that the sales efforts are directed at the targeted market/customers; determine all specific account assignments
  • Assure the Company has an active list of prospects and is working that group of prospects effectively
  • Manage and maintain an understanding of technical and commercial issues related to castings; understand customer needs and requirements as they relate to the application of Companys product and services
  • Train both inside and outside sales forces to effectively present and articulate the Companys production features, benefits and product solutions, specifically communicating how the Companys solution can uniquely solve the customers problems and add value
  • Develop and keep current the appropriate marketing materials including the website, PowerPoint presentations, periodic mass customer mailings, needed to present a world class company image and share the company message
  • Perform any and all other job-related tasks as assigned


  • Ability to work well under pressure. Strong organizational skills as well as excellent oral and written communication ability. Must have strong written, verbal and presentation skills. Must have strong computer skills.
