Manages and directs highly technical teams to ensure project milestones and goals are met. Responsible for developing, improving, and implementing operations and production plans to align with company objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage project teams (e.g., DAS, RTU, SCADA) to ensure successful execution of project milestones.
- Collaborate with Project Managers on the creation and implementation of project execution plans, defining success criteria, and leading status meetings to remove roadblocks.
- Oversee project statuses and case management, including escalation and resolution, ensuring projects remain on track.
- Drive the standardization of software and testing procedures for consistent product and project delivery.
- Coordinate with internal teams to prioritize schedules, forecast tasks, and secure necessary resources to meet project deadlines.
- Engage directly with customers to address concerns related to delivery timelines and product expectations and gather feedback through quarterly meetings and focus groups.
- Review and implement product development for system functionality, ensuring error-free installations
- Develop and deploy comprehensive training programs, both online and in-person, to ensure team proficiency in key areas such as system installation and advanced applications.
- Manage patching assignments and follow-up processes, working closely with external and internal teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on product and delivery processes, supporting organizational goals and acting as a backup for Project Managers as needed.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of Operations leadership experience.
- Master’s degree preferred; Bachelor’s degree required.
- Proven experience in implementing SCADA system software on Red Hat Linux platforms, leading international deployments, and delivering real-time critical systems in high-pressure environments.
- Ability to collaborate across multiple teams and responsibilities, with a focus on engaging SMEs and documenting knowledge for team use.
- Knowledge of Power Utility Systems
- RED Hat, Linux, C++, Oracle, PostGres, Jreports, ‘.NET’ code , Autodesk APIs ´ ActiveMQ, Other Web Services or JMS, JAVA
