CASE MANAGERS - INCREASE YOUR MANAGEMENT CREDENTIALS

As the Supervisor of Case Management and Utilization Management, youll earn a significant base salary depending upon your qualifications and experience while working a Monday through Friday business schedule with reliable hours. We are only interested in highly motivated RNs with a solid background in case management, utilization management, and recent clinical nursing experience in an acute care setting. If you are also familiar with Medicaid managed care then we are even more excited to meet you! This role is for a working supervisor, no closed-door manages need apply. You wont loose your edge by shuffling papers around all day. Not only will you gain impressive management experience, your case management and UM knowledge will grow every day. Your team of 3 to 5 RNs will look to you for leadership, guidance, and to set the pace for the team. If you havent stopped reading by now then you might be the person we need. Some of the areas of responsibility assigned to the supervisor include...

1) Daily operations and guidance of the case management and UM team.
2) Managing a case load (show them how its done!) while covering for your staff if necessary.
3) Being the clinical expert for appeals.
4) Working with the medical management team to fine tune case management computer system issues.
5) Identifying case management trends and contributing to financial forecasting.

Its case management, UM, business operations, and leadership all in one job -- a tremendous note to have on any resume.


Registered nurses with a bachelors degree and at least three years of case management experience should seriously consider this role. If you also have case management certification, previous supervisory experience or any data management experience then you move to the head of the line!
