Image Processing Engineer - Connecticut Job # 6082 Job Type: Full Time, regular direct position
Qualifications: The image processing engineer will participate in algorithm development, implementation and test activities relating to fluorescence microscopy image acquisition and analysis. The individual is expected to work closely with the biologists, application software engineers and other groups. BS/MS in Computer Science/Engineering (computer graphics area) or MS in Electrical Engineering (image processing area) with software minor. 2+ years of software development experience in image processing is desirable. Experience in hardware based algorithm acceleration is a plus. Knowledgeable in image processing and/or computer graphics (hardware & software) Solid programming experience in C/C++ Experience in C# .net environment will be a plus Excellent time management and self-organization
