Our client is the Latin American division of a major pharmaceutical manufacturer, seeking a Business Manager for the Northern Latin American region. Ideally, this position will be based in Colombia, but candidates may be considered who are based in Panama, Peru or Mexico. The region will also include Mexico, Central America, Puerto Rico, Caribbean and the Andean region. Current sales volume is in excess of $50MM, striving to double in the next 5 years.
The Area Managing Director will be responsible for developing a team of Sales Managers in these countries to develop this business.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree required, MBA strongly preferred
5-7 years of P&L Management experience in Latin America, managing multiple countries and with exposure to distributors, agents and direct commercial organizations
Must be bilingual (English/Spanish)
7-10 years of experience managing sales talent in Latin America
Strong Pharmaceutical experience required
Must have experience with Bids and Tenders process and dealing with Government Affairs and Multi-Stake Holders
Ability to travel up to 60% of the time
Coaching Skills
Prefer candidates from Fortune 500 companies
