Lab Manager - Tampa, FL
A Laboratory Manager is needed for a small laboratory in the Tampa, FL area. The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the laboratory. This is a working Lab Manager position consisting of 50% bench work, 50% administrative work. Previous experience in molecular or histology testing is preferred; however, a Med Tech generalist background will be considered as well. The Lab Manager will oversee 15 FTEs. This is a day shift, Monday-Friday position with flexible hours.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Medical Technology, Biology, Chemistry, or related field is required
Masters degree preferred but not required
A minimum of 5 year previous experience in the laboratory field
A minimum of 2 years previous supervisor/manager experience
Previous molecular or histology experience preferred
ASCP or NCA certification preferred but not required
Florida state supervisor license preferred but not required
Shift: Days, Monday - Friday
Salary: $55,000-75,000
