Nuclear Posture Review (NPR)SupportThe selected candidate shall assist USSTRATCOM and the Joint Staff by: preparing analyses, papers, and briefings for use by the Commander, USSTRATCOM and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff in monitoring and implementation of the Nuclear Posture Review (NPR).
Candidates should possess expertise and/or demonstrate a broad understanding of analytical methods, tools and models, the global strike mission; nuclear policy, strategy, forces and infrastructure, the PPBE System; the NNSA Future-Years Nuclear Security Program (FYNSP); and stockpile sustainment/ strategic deterrence matters. Additionally, candidates should be familiar with the nuclear enterprise, USSTRATCOM, its mission areas, and its relationships with other component commands, defense agencies, and other government and industry organizations.
We are looking for the following qualifications:
- US Citizenship and an ACTIVE TS/SCI security clearance are required
- Bachelors Degree (Masters Degree preferred)
- Excellent technical writing and briefing skills
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- 15 + years Nuclear Operations experience
- USSTRATCOM or Joint Staff experience
