Responsible for all areas of Ag/Commercial loans from origination to monthly inspections. To promote the Bank and its products and services to customers and employees, providing prompt, efficient and courteous service in an effort to develop ongoing, long-term customer relationships. Continually observes and reviews processes and procedures to insure continued process improvement for maintenance of and increased quality customer service. Reviews files for accurate documentation and analysis of financial information. Examines, evaluates, and authorizes or recommends approval of customer applications for Ag/Commercial loans by performing the following duties:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Interviews applicant and requests specified information for loan application. 2. Requests applicant credit reports, background checks, reference checks, and other information pertinent to loan applicants evaluation. 3. Analyzes applicant financial status, credit, and property evaluation to determine feasibility of granting loan and makes recommendation. 4. Corresponds with or interviews applicant or creditors to resolve questions regarding application information. 5. Compiles loan package and facilitates negotiation of loan structure with applicant, including fees, loan repayment options, and other credit terms. 6. Submits loan presentations to loan committee for approval. 7. Ensures loan agreements are complete and accurate according to policy. 8. Assures timely loan closing and funding activities. 9. Identifies and analyzes potential loan markets to develop prospects for Ag/Commercial loans. 10. Advises loan manager of external factors that may affect established lending policies, such as new or revised legislation and regulations. Recommends and implements appropriate changes to establishment policies and procedures. 11. Promotes and cross-sells other established products and services as appropriate to customer requirements. 12. Provides loan data to support marketing and sales promotion programs. 13. Serve as lead resource for Ag/Commercial lending to branch managers. 14. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
