Our American client is a leader in Derm, Plastic, Medical Aesthetic markets in the USA, sold primarily to Dermatologists, clinics and hospitals (may not be the same in China). The firm is expanding their sales to China and will be putting 3 new positions in there this year. Initially, they want to add someone in Shanghai and then Beijing, although if some is found in Beijing they could start with that person too. Do NOT screen on salary. Client is open and this is a new market location for them. (Currently have a similar person in Hong Kong so no need there)

Job Title: International Business Manager: China
Department: International Sales and Marketing
Reports To: Vice President, International Sales and Marketing

Summary
The candidate will be responsible for supporting and managing the China Distributor Network for our Medical Products. They will identify and develop new China territories/partners for growth opportunities and liaison with Corporate Marketing to rollout products and marketing programs globally.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Identify distributor(s) to represent company
Manage current distributor to ensure distributor and meet strategic and business goals
Conduct and lead sessions to train current and new doctors
Identify market needs with distributor to increase revenue/profit
Work in the field with distributor reps
Target and sell key accounts
Call on, sell and influence KOLs
Increase market share in China territory
Pro-actively work with manager to meet/exceed corporate objectives
Communicate and influence internal and external partners on corporate strategies
Conduct analysis of reports to develop and implement new programs
Collaborate and manage project resources, internally and externally
Prepare reports, correspondence and presentations
Administrative duties as required

Qualifications:
Successfully identified and opened new markets and/or distributors
Successful track record in building a business in Derm, Plastic, Medical Aesthetic markets
Strong relationships with Key Decision Makers
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or related field
3-5 years experience in sales/marketing/international
Problem solving, creativity, strategic, analytical and customer-focused
Excellent negotiation, verbal and written communication skills
Self-motivated to accomplish objectives independently
Strong ability to contribute in cross-functional team environments
Willingness to travel as required
Bilingual Chinese/English required Sells to Chinese but reports to American VP and works with US marketing people who speak English, so must be bilingual.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Client thinks Chinese Medical Doctors would do well in this job but anyone with medical or cosmetics related field is OK
