The Sr. Financial Analyst - Operations will be an active member of the finance team and assist in providing financial direction to the operation. Position is responsible for assisting the Division Controller with the all necessary management performance reporting, forecasting activities, development of the annual budget for the facility, assisting in the annual physical inventory for the facility and any special projects as needed. This position will report directly to the Division Controller.
Accountabilities:
Assist Division Controller with monthly budget reviews including budget/forecast vs.actual performance, including action item steps.
Assist Division Controller with product line and customer profitability to understand mix impact on financial results.
Analysis and review of new product costing and pricing to support business planning.
Assist Division Controller in cost to produce segmenting by business unit.
Perform business case financial modeling, trend and benchmarking analysis.
Perform root cause analysis to understand key business drive business process improvements throughout the organization.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience within a manufacturing and/or supply chain operations environment.
3 plus years of financial analysis experience, including ad hoc analysis, budgeting and forecasting.
Experience working with and advising management on financial and business strategy.
Proven track record of driving results through cross-functional teams.
Working knowledge of general accounting and internal controls.
Ability to multi-task, effectively prioritizes, and manages a diverse spectrum of stakeholder expectations.
Experience working with an ERP management system, particularly from an adhoc perspective.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint).
Excellent communication skills with ability to grow to another opportunity within 24 months.
Education:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
MBA preferred.
