Our client, a nationwide organization with local headquarters, has an immediate need for a Regional Controller. The regional controller will report directly to the assistant corporate controller and be responsible for the financials of multiple entities, as well as providing support to senior management. Duties include: - Review journal entries during month and year-end processes.
- Production of monthly and annual financial statements for multiple entities.
- Assist in budget preparation.
- Budget variance analysis.
- KPI analysis and forecasting.
- Evaluate and implement operational efficiencies and cost savings.
- Financial and operational process implementation and improvement.
- Provide supporting documentation to investors and external auditors.
- Other duties as assigned
Candidates for the regional controller position should have 5+ years of full cycle accounting experience (including financial statement preparation) and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance. A graduate degree is highly preferred, as is a CPA or CMA designation.
