Management Business Solutions is seeking a Telecommunications Associate Account Executive in Sacramento, CA. This person will be responsible for a developing a territory in Business to Business Sales through cold calling, networking, and creating lasting customer relationships. This position is a true hunter role providing wireless services and products to smaller, rural markets as well as to emerging markets with new technologies.
- Target area business and provide wireless solutions.
- Maintain full knowledge of current service and data plans.
- Pursue, generate and qualify leads through aggressive sales tactics, such as cold-calling, door-to-door, and networking to new government customers.
- Prepare, deliver and follow up on proposals and pricing quotes.
- Successfully negotiate and close sales.
- Utilize sales tools, such as funnel management and prospecting capabilities.
- Provide reporting on sales activities and forecasting.
- Execute an account follow-up strategy.
- Sell prepaid products within the public sector.
- Develop community relations in areas where the government-sector focus has been underserved.
- High School/GED required (Bachelor’s Preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in direct sales, cold calling, and phone-based prospecting resulting in successfully obtaining customer appointments required.
- Ability to effectively negotiate and close sales.
- CRM experience such as Salesforce a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record with proof of insurance.
- Must be able to travel throughout local territory.
