POSITION TITLE: Practice Administrator POSITION LOCATION: Houston, TX POSITION DESCRIPTION:The Administrator is responsible for strategic management of the physicians practice and assist in establishing a framework for planning, directing and coordinating practice services. The Administrator acts as a liaison in overseeing the management between the practice providers, clinical and administrative staff in conjunction with Operation Management. Coordinates all functional activities in cooperation with the Department Chairperson/Medical Director. Administrator may also be responsible for academic or research components. POSITION REQUIREMENTS:RN Licensure and Master’s Degree in Business Administration or Health Care Administration requiredMinimum ten years of experience in Health Care Administration or a closely related field required. At least five years or progressively responsible management experience required, preferably in an academic medical setting. Experience in a physician organization or clinical practice setting required. Clinical background preferred.ACHE, FACHE, Administrator Certification preferredExtensive experience partnering with physicians and other healthcare professionals and a record of building and maintaining trusting and collaborative relationships.
