Regional Account Manager - OEM Medical Products

Well known medical products contract manufacturer seeks a Regional Account Manager to manage B2B accounts selling wound care products to medical device industry leaders, not hospitals or medical facilities. This company makes a wide range of sterile products that include bandages, adhesive tape used in wound care. The Regional Account Manager will handle a territory that includes MW and SE states, managing an existing client base while also prospecting new clients. Expected travel to be approximately 50%. Base salary is $100-120K + car allowance + quarterly bonuses + commission.

The Regional Account Manager will:
  • Manage a territory that includes WI, IL, OH, IN, VA, FL, Ohio, NC, GA, SC, AL , WV, AR, LA, TX.
  • Service existing clients, manage contracts and develop new lines or avenues of business
  • Develop new clients
  • Attend medical device / pharma trade shows
  • Develop new clients and strong sales pipeline
Requirements for Regional Account Manager:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years experience selling disposable medical products B2B to other medical device, OTC or medical products companies, with a focus on customized solution sales
  • Experience selling products produced from a contract manufacturing source
  • Strong communications skills, oral, written, presentation
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite including Word and Excel
