One of the world's leading manufacturers of chemical products, serving the North American continent is actively seeking a DCS & Controls Engineers, with a good understanding of current Yokogawa DCS and interfaces.
Responsibilities:
-> Provide day-to-day, long-term technical support for the Yokogawa DCS, associated interfaces and various PLC applications -> Maintain control stategies which safely and reliably meet operating requirements of the facility -> Configure and test control system and operator interfaces -> Insure ancillary equipment is properly maintained -> Maintain drawings and other relevant documentation to insure long-term viability of systems -> Train faculty staff in proper system operation
Requirements:
-> Bachelor's degree required: engineering or technical disciplines preferred -> Minimum of 3+ years work experience with Distributed Control System (DCS) configuration, networking, commissioning, and technical long-term support -> Experienced use of CURRENT Yokagawa DCS and PI preferred -> Recent process industry experience preferred (chemical, petro-chemical Process) -> Demonstrated leadership skills
