A world leader that manufactures and markets tools for the construction industry and the building maintenance industry is actively interviewing for an Account Manager to service Petrochemical ? Energy clients located in the San Diego area. The focus of this position is to generate sales revenue with Petrochemical ? Energy customers and be aware of related projects for these customers.
Responsibilities:
-> Sell, Service and Promote the product line directly to customers in the Petrochemical ? Energy construction projects and facilities
-> Identify new sales opportunities and customer prospects; and must be knowledgeable and very familiar with Petrochemical ? Energy project process
-> Responsible for accurate sales forecasts of Petrochemical ? Energy Customers and how to develop new prospects to meet established sales goals
-> Develop, promote and maintain positive customer relationships with Energy Owners, Project Engineers, Project Managers, and Contractors to in turn achieve forecasts
Requirements:
-> Strong technical ability is required
-> 2 plus years proven Success in Outside Sales to Construction, Building Materials or Industrial related markets
-> Experience working in Petrochemical- Energy industry and with construction professionals is preferred
-> Must be knowledgeable and experienced in reading plans, specifications, submittals and technical documents from customers
-> Excellent planning, project and time management skills are a must, ability to work independently on a daily basis and strong verbal and written communication skills
-> Bachelor's Degree is required, preferably degree in Petroleum, Chemical, Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Construction Management or related engineering field
