A premier engineering and architectural firm is very actively seeking a Resident Engineer/Inspector for a full time opportunity in CT.
Responsibilities:
-> Serves as Resident Engineer on a major construction project to ensure that the project is built in accordance with plans, special provisions, CT DOT Standards and estimates -> Inspects construction site to monitor progress and ensure conformance to engineering plans, specifications, and construction and safety standards -> Gives engineering advice to assist in solving problems -> Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees, appraising performance and planning, assigning, and directing work
Requirements:
-> Four year degree in Civil engineering -> possess a PE or a NICET Level IV certification -> Project experience with Connecticut DOT Highways and Bridges -> Supervisory experience
