Searching for a Director of Engineering with a rubber chemistry background involving rubber bonding agents for heavy industrial progressing cavity pumps for a permanent position in Northeast Georgia.
Responsibilities:
-> Direct the designs of new and improved product lines for positive displacement pumps, flow divider systems, down-hole drilling equipment and progressive cavity pumps -> Manager and support the design teams for improved manufacturing and processes -> Create a technical and engineering vision for the company and plan the implementation of new project development -> Create budgets, allocate resources and determine schedules of product releases or project deadlines -> Direct Test Department in pump testing analysis and dynamic test procedures for existing and new product development
Requirements:
-> BS Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or technically related degree -> 6- 10 years of leadership experience directing design & development of positive displacement pumps, flow divider systems, down-hole drilling equipment, and progressing cavity pumps -> Manages project engineers, CAD drafters, and test technicians -> Hire, training work assignments, performance reviews, complaint resolution -> Provide direction, coordination, and evaluation of Design Engineering -> Rubber chemistry background in engineering and design involving bonding agents
